Mendocino organic farmer charged with animal cruelty |
A well-known Mendocino County organic farmer and wine maker is facing trial on misdemeanor charges of animal neglect and cruelty.

Guinness McFadden severely neglected his aging burro, then shot it multiple times while attempting to put it out of its misery, according to a report by Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputy Christian Denton.

McFadden, an outspoken Potter Valley rancher who specializes in organic winegrapes, herbs, rice and cattle, declined to comment on the charges filed by the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office.

Why is this important? Because he may be a democrat? Did he campaign against Prop 8?

Are you that shallow? Organic is supposed to be a farming practice that is better than non organic farming. IE If you buy organic, you are buying/supporting a farming practice that is good, and wholesome. This person failed the normal label of organic.

Well, I don’t claim to no anything about this farmer, but putting an old animal out of his misery isn’t the end of the world.

But I’m sure, since organic equals liberal, elitist, no on Prop 8, etc. he must have the worst of intentions given the situation. No way does this guy wear any freakin’ magic underwear!

You also don’t seem to be able to read with any comprehension at all. The guy mistreated this animal severely, but that is ok with you. Only one trimming of hocks, resulting in a severe crippling of the tumor laced animal’s ability to walk. It isn’t ok with me. It also took many shots to put the animal down. But that also gets a pass by the likes of you. But hey, typical crummy anonymous fail. You can think of any new material? It is like reelecting Bonnie Neely for a 40th term. Stale and worn out.
