Playing around with Delorme Street Atlas 2009 plus today. I thought I’d put together a map of the proposed Trolley Routes in Marin County. There is six routes proposed. This is not an accurate map of the routes. Just a general map to give you an idea. Why don’t we see maps anymore in newspapers? They really allow people to see what is going on.

- The Depot in Mill Valley to the Sausalito ferry terminal

- Mill Valley to Tiburon

- Mill Valley to Corte Madera, Larkspur, Kentfield and San Anselmo

- Corte Madera and Greenbrae to San Rafael

- San Anselmo to the Larkspur ferry terminal

- Fairfax through San Anselmo to San Rafael

Rex and Nichol say it would cost $20 million to $50 million to build a demonstration line between the Depot in Mill Valley and the Sausalito ferry terminal. Mill Valley, Sausalito and Marin County supervisors have each agreed to put $5,000 toward a feasibility study of the project.

To answer SMART critics that the proposed Trolley won’t connect to SMART, the 1st line, will not, but if fully built out it will have two connections to SMART. One in downtown San Rafael, the other at the Larkspur Ferry Terminal.
